The International Advisory Committee (IAC) of the UNESCO Memory of the World Programme consider new applications to the programme's International List of documentary heritage during its meeting in Manchester, United Kingdom.

During plenary session on the opening morning of the 4th International Conference of the UNESCO Memory of the World Programme, entitled "Culture - Memory - Identities" in Warsaw, Poland, the think heritage! Managing Director presented a speech on UNESCO cultural activities.
   
42 new World Heritage Sites awaiting inscription in June

Following the completion of the evaluation processes by the Advisory Bodies (ICOMOS and IUCN) the World Heritage Committee will consider 42 new candidates to the World Heritage List, among them the Testimony of the Pearling Economy, Bahrain.
   
ICCROM announces post of
Director-General
