Next World Heritage Committee meets in St. Petersburg

Upon closing its 35th Session, the World Heritage Committee elected Ms Eleonora Valentinovna Mitrofanova, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to UNESCO, as its Chairperson for the 36th Session to be hosted in St. Petersburg in 2012.

Branitz Exhibition to support
World Heritage Application

An exhibition entitled "time-layers" was opened in Brantiz, the historic landscape garden of Earl Pueckler in Cottbus, Germany. The Exhibition, focused on conservation, is designed to support the World Heritage application as an extension of Bad Muskau.
