ICH Action plans with Think Heritage!
Action plans are strategic planning tools for the coordinated implementation of safeguarding policies for the Intangible Cultural Heritage. These are guided by, among others, article 13 of the 2003 UNESCO Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage, which suggests a series of safeguarding methods and techniques.
think heritage! can assist in facilitating the consultations and exchanges required to arrive at meaningful safeguarding strategies and frameworks for their implementation. Based on existing action plans and good practice examples, studied and discussed with your local team and the practioner communities, the action plans are created in a consultative and participatory atmosphere. While think heritage! offers to document the consensus reached during this process within the UNESCO format, we can also provide training and capacity building support to enable the local community to independantly master this task.
