Visual Impact Analysis by think heritage!

During the last years, the World Heritage Committee has requested an increasing number of visual impact studies for development projects in or nearby World Heritage properties and their buffer zones.

UNESCO and its Advisory Bodies have not yet established consensus around international criteria or benchmarks for visual impact analysis. At present these judgements are developed for each individual case based on the specific setting, local traditions, as well as local aesthetic perceptions.

Using a combination of visual landscape and horizon renderings, aesthetic and proportional analysis as well as qualitative surveys of local perception and benchmarks for acceptable visual change, the expert team of think heritage! provides you a visual impact analysis as unique as your site.

Apart from Visual Impact Studies we also provide Heritage Impact Assessments in World Heritage contexts.
